Simply put, it is not just the Episcopal Church that is in “Crisis,” but the entire spectrum of traditional western Christianity is also under a serious threat, from those that are opposed to a Scriptural and Orthodox expression of the Faith. Some of these threats come from within the church, others from without.
Internally the issues of biblical authority and human sexuality are increasingly becoming divisive issues in many Christian denominations. The Word of God is now open to debate and change. Externally the church bodies that remain true to their biblical orthodoxy are increasingly being marginalized in our contemporary culture by both the media, and even from Government. Without understanding the many threats to the faith, and without standing as a watchman at the gate, our complacency will allow even further erosion of Christ’s Church.
While these pages focus mainly on the current “Crisis in the Episcopal Church,” there is also material of vital importance to all that hold to the traditions and long held beliefs of our common faith. It is the stated purpose of this website to provide news, links, commentary, and to offer a positive Gospel based reply to those attacks to “the faith once delivered to the Saints.”
